Minor Hindu girl dragged into a shop and molested by Muslim man

Case Summary
In Bulandshahr’s Anupshahr area, a Muslim shopkeeper named Danish dragged a 12-year-old Hindu girl into his shop and attempted to rape her while she was on her way to school. Her screams alerted locals and school staff, who intervened and rescued her. When confronted, Danish’s mother threatened that they would abduct the girl next time. The victim’s family filed a police complaint immediately. Kotwali in-charge Vishambar Dayal confirmed that Danish had been taken into custody. The girl, the niece of a retired army soldier, has been living with her uncle. Following the incident, hundreds of locals and Bajrang Dal members gathered at the police station, demanding action, including a bulldozer demolition of the accused’s house.
