Minor Hindu girl trapped over Instagram, brutally raped by minor Muslim boy and his accomplice for over a year

Case Summary
A 14-year-old Dalit girl in Rajasthan's Tonk district was raped, blackmailed and physically abused by six Muslim youths for over one and a half years. The main accused was also a minor. The victim came in contact with the minor accused, Mohammad Faisal, on Instagram. Some sources say he changed his name and befriended her. They became friends over time. The accused convinced the victim to exchange phone numbers and they began talking. The accused, then started visiting the victim's house. The victim recounted that one day, the accused asked her for objectionable videos. Initially, she refused, but eventually, she was convinced by his words. She recorded some videos and sent them to his mobile phone and Snapchat. After receiving the videos, he began threatening to upload them on the internet and started blackmailing her. She was terrified and did not know what to do. He then demanded money from her, and somehow, she managed to give him four thousand rupees. However, even after that, he did not stop and continued to make repeated demands for money. To meet his demands, she would frequently ask her family for money under various pretexts and hand it over to him. She further stated that he raped her multiple times, using the threat of making the video viral to force her into submission. On one occasion, he even sent her a picture of himself holding a pistol and warned that if she revealed anything to anyone, he would kill both her and her family. During the assaults, he would stuff a cloth in her mouth to muffle her screams. She also described how, in one particularly brutal instance, he bit her private parts with his teeth. When she could no longer provide him with money, he sent her video to his friend, Arbaaz. The father of the victim further speaking about his daughter's ordeal stated that Arbaaz also forced his daughter to have sex with him. One day when his daughter was going somewhere, Arbaaz forcibly made her sit in his car, took her to a cafe and raped her. After this, Arbaaz shared the video with his other two friends. They also started harassing the victim. One day both of them forcibly made her sit in the car and took her to Banas River Highway. Both of them raped her there. When the victim blocked all their numbers, the minor accused again tried to pressure her. One day he forcibly took her to his minor friend's father's under-construction house. There he raped her along with his two minor friends. On February 13, 2025, the accused sent objectionable videos of the girl to her brother and the matter came to light. The brother requested the accused to delete the video, but the accused did not agree. After this, the victim's father lodged a case. In this way, over the course of approximately one and a half years, at least six minor boys, including Arbaaz, extorted thousands of rupees from the victim and repeatedly raped her through blackmail. The victim was left traumatised but did not reveal anything to anyone due to fear of social stigma. SP Vikas Sangwan stated that the police have detained four individuals, and a decision on their arrest will be made after further investigation. Sangwan said, "Some boys shared objectionable videos of a minor girl among themselves. They blackmailed her with those videos and raped her. A case has been registered by the victim's family. The victim's statement under section 164 has been recorded."
