Minor Hindu girl abducted and raped by Muslim father-son

Case Summary
In the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh, a 15-year-old Hindu girl was kidnapped and raped by a 25-year-old Muslim man named Samajd alias Sanjay Bengali. According to reports, Samajd was a resident of West Bengal, worked as a mason, and was residing in rented accommodation in Bhadohi. On January 8, the girl’s mother filed an FIR after her daughter was abducted by Samajd. It was also reported that Samjad's father, Abdul Kasim, was also involved in the abduction of the minor girl. Following this, Bhadohi police tracked the accused to Murshidabad district in West Bengal. With the help of local police, a raid was conducted at his hideout, leading to the recovery of the minor girl and the arrest of both Samajd and his father. Furthermore, the minor girl confirmed that she was raped during the period of captivity. A medical examination was conducted, and her statement was recorded. Charges under sections of rape and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act were also added to the FIR.
