Hindu woman filmed while bathing; Muslim youth attacks her family when caught

In the Gautam Nagar area under Azad Chowk police station limits of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a Muslim youth named Sheikh Jafar alias Jholtu attempted to record a video of a Hindu woman while she was bathing. In the afternoon, the victim was taking a bath in the bathroom when she noticed the light from a mobile phone. When she raised an alarm, her husband and son rushed in and tried to catch Jholtu, who was fleeing toward the open field at the back. During this attempt, the accused Jholtu, along with his brothers Rehan and Kalam, attacked them with stones and a knife. The woman’s family members were injured in the attack. Multiple cases of assault have already been registered against Jholtu in the past. Residents of the locality and Hindu organisations have demanded strict action against the accused. There was a major uproar at the police station over the matter.
