Hindu woman found in company of Muslim man in Ujjain; man poses as Hindu when confronted by Hindu organisation

Case Summary
In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, a Hindu organisation reported that a Hindu woman was deceived and sexually exploited by a Muslim man named Ikram, who had posed as a Hindu man. Members of the Hindu organisation caught a Muslim man with a Hindu woman in a suspicious and obscene condition in the bushes near Vishnu Sagar. Upon questioning, the Muslim accused initially presented himself as a Hindu man named Ram, son of Ghanshyam. Upon checking his Aadhaar card, it was revealed that his real name was Ikram, a resident of Jaansaapura, and he is a Muslim. He was immediately handed over to the Jiwajiganj police station for further action. The Hindu woman found with Ikram is a widow and had come from Mahidpur to Ujjain along with her children. It has been reported that she was lured by Ikram to come to Ujjain. Furthermore, when Ikram’s phone was examined, chats with multiple girls were discovered. As of the date of writing this report, the accused was arrested by the police, and the investigation was ongoing. Police were examining the chats based on which further legal action would be taken.
