Hindu woman raped by Muslim man on the pretext of marriage, impregnated and forced to abort; issued death threats

In a village within the jurisdiction of Boodiya Police Station, in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, a 19-year-old Hindu woman was raped under the pretext of marriage by a Muslim man named Shoaib. The woman became pregnant, and the accused induced her to abort the child by administering medication. The accused induced her to terminate the pregnancies by giving her medication. When the woman asked Shoaib to marry her, he then threatened to kill her and her entire family. Distressed by these events, the victim filed a complaint at the police station. Investigating officer ASI Sushma stated that a case had been registered against the accused, Shoaib, and that the police had commenced an investigation into the matter.
