Cow slaughter racket busted, Muslim accused arrested in Sultanpur

Case Summary
The Dhanpatganj police station in Sultanpur arrested Mohammed Hussain Qureshi, who was wanted in a case of cow slaughter. During the investigation, it was found that the accused had been a resident of Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh. A case had been registered against him under the Cow Slaughter Prevention Act and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Due to the seriousness of the offence, the Superintendent of Police, Sultanpur, had announced a reward for information leading to his arrest. Mohammed Hussain Qureshi, son of Shamim Qureshi, had been living in Bazarhiya Ward Number 7, Noori Nagar. The police arrested him and presented him before the court.
