Muslim man posed as Hindu to trap a Hindu woman, raped and tried to kill her when she refused to convert

Case Summary
In UP's Aligarh, a Muslim man Rehan alias Furqan posed as a Hindu named Nihal Chaudhary and lured a Hindu woman on the pretext of getting her job and ended up gangraping her for 7 months. He tried to strangulate her to death when she refused to convert to Islam. The case pertains to the Sasni Gate police station area. The police arrested the accused.
Why it is Hate Crime ?
When a non-Hindu man pretends to be a Hindu to deceive a Hindu woman into a relationship, the act is seen as triggered by malafide intentions. These cases could be argued as cases of religious brainwashing and a result of the pressure a woman feels after getting into a relationship with a man.
