All three were seriously injured during the attack. The attackers fled the scene after snatching a bag containing Rs. 2000 in cash. Sudhir Jena expressed his displeasure over the police's failure to act decisively and demanded stringent measures against those responsible. Congress leader Tiki Mukhi visited the family and strongly condemned the incident, stating that such a violent attack has instilled fear across the entire region.
