The entire incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed outside a residence, where Sharif was clearly seen spitting into a milk can before delivering it to the house. The video soon went viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage and concern among local residents. Upon witnessing the footage, many people expressed disgust and deep worry about the health risks posed by such a vile act. After the video went viral, members of the All India Hindu Mahasabha (a Hindu organisation) immediately approached the Gomti Nagar police station and lodged a formal complaint, demanding strict legal action against the Muslim man.
