The victim’s father narrated that the accused, Sonu Usmani, a local resident, had lured away his underage daughter and also threatened the family with death. Even the victim’s cousin was subjected to similar death threats by the Muslim accused during the ordeal. Hindu organisations in the area were quickly alerted regarding this incident, and they expressed their outrage over the situation. They immediately went to the police station and filed a complaint against Mohammad Sonu Usmani.
