Case Summary
In the Sirauli area of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a minor Dalit Hindu girl was abducted by two Muslim men, Azam and Suhail. The incident occurred in the Chowki Nababpura area, where the girl was alone when the two Muslim accused, both residents of Nababpura, spotted and abducted her. When her family noticed her absence, they began searching for her but were unable to locate her. Upon inquiry, it was revealed that Azam and Suhail were responsible for the abduction. The girl’s father immediately lodged a complaint with the police. As of the date of this report, one of the accused, Suhail, has been arrested, while Azam remains at large. Police efforts to trace and rescue the minor girl are ongoing. The Hindu community expressed deep anger over the abduction. In response, senior police officials visited the area, appealed for calm, and deployed multiple teams to maintain peace and order.
