Case Summary
In Domjur town, Howrah, West Bengal, a Hindu girl was lured under the pretext of a job offer by a Muslim man, then forced into sex trafficking. Aryan also sexually assaulted the victim, beat her with iron rods, forcibly cut her hair, and tortured her with burning cigarettes. His mother, Shweta Khan, a social media content creator, is also an accused in the case. The victim, somehow, managed to escape Khan’s captivity on 6th June 2025 and went back to her house. She was thereafter admitted to the College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital and was in a very critical condition. The police were informed, and they registered a case and began an investigation. Police raided Aryan’s residence, but he and his mother, Shweta, were absconding. Reports suggest that the accused Aryan Khan and his mother have a criminal past.
