When the girl began crying, the Muslim perpetrator fled the scene. When the girl’s sister returned home, the victim revealed what had happened. The sister immediately contacted the police and reported the incident. Following this, the police launched a search for the accused, reviewing security camera footage from the area and questioning local residents. They identified the suspect riding a motorcycle and confirmed his identity through the CCTV footage. Subsequently, on 3rd June 2025, the police arrested Momin on a nearby road. The victim was brought to the police station, where she confirmed that he was the perpetrator. Following the incident, the police acted swiftly, analysed the footage, and successfully identified the accused. He was then remanded in custody, and local authorities assured that justice would be served.
