Hindu girl lured to house by Muslim woman: then raped by a Muslim man

Case Summary
In the Konachatra village of the Coochbehar district, a Hindu girl was abducted and raped by a Muslim man named Bappa Miyan. The incident occurred when the girl's Muslim neighbour, Marjina Bibi, invited the girl to her house, where the accused Bappa Miyan was already present. There the Muslim youth Bappa Miyan raped her post which the girl became unconscious. After which, both of them fled the scene. Later, the girl’s family found her there in an unconscious condition. In her statement, the victim also revealed that she was also raped earlier by the accused and he was blackmailing her and threatening to kill her if she revealed this to anyone. As of the date of writing this report, the accused was arrested by the police and the investigation was ongoing regarding the role of Marjina Bibi and the broader circumstances surrounding the crime.
