Hindu woman goes missing, vitcim's father raises concerns of forced religious conversion and trafficking by group of Muslim men

Case Summary
In Amethi, a 22-year-old Hindu woman, just days before her scheduled wedding, was lured and abducted by a group of Muslim men. The incident took place in a village under the Ramganj Thana region, where the woman went missing on the morning of April 24 while she was on her way to the market. Her wedding had been scheduled for May 6. According to the victim’s father, a man named Shahzad, along with his brothers Armaan, Salman, and Imran, had kidnapped his daughter. He stated that Shahzad had been in contact with her for some time and had secretly obtained her passport. The father feared that his daughter might be forcibly converted to Islam, trafficked, and pushed into immoral activities. As of the date of writing this report, the accused was arrested by the police, and the investigation was ongoing. The girl had been rescued safely and was sent for medical examination. It was also found out that the girl was being taken away to Saudi Arabia.
Why it is Hate Crime ?
In this case, the possibility that the woman was brainwashed into leaving with the accused cannot be ruled out, particularly given that the father testified that a Muslim man lured the woman away. He feared that his daughter might be forcibly converted to Islam, trafficked, and pushed into prostitution. However, there is no conclusive evidence to substantiate claims of coercion or forced conversion, especially since the woman is an adult and her statement has not been recorded. The absence of her perspective makes it difficult to definitively categorise the incident as a case of coercion or predatory proselytisation. Given these uncertainties, the case has been added to the "undecided" database. Should additional evidence or the woman’s testimony emerge, the categorisation may be revised to reflect the new information accurately.
