Abdul Mannaf Choudhury abducts a minor girl from Manipur disguising as Laishram Sanathoi Singh

Manipur police, with assistance from Mumbai police, rescued a missing minor girl from a secluded area in Navi Mumbai on October 31. The girl, from Manipur’s Thoubal district, had allegedly been abducted. Police initially identified the accused as Laishram Sanathoi Singh, a 25-year-old from Assam’s Cachar district. After securing the necessary legal permissions, Manipur police planned to return with the girl and the arrested accused for further legal proceedings. Both the girl and Choudhury remained in police custody for the time being.
