On August 26, 2025, Shakiba invited the Hindu girl to Kaiserbagh under some pretext and took her directly to the accused's flat on a scooter. After some time, the accused also arrived and started molesting the Hindu girl. When the Hindu girl protested, he held her hostage and then raped her. During this time, Shakiba was continuously recording videos of the sexual assault, so as to further blackmail the victim. The victim eventually managed to escape, reached home, and informed her family about the ordeal. She then lodged a formal complaint at the Saadatganj police station. The police arrested both Mehran and Shakiba and sent them to jail. Mobile phones of both the accused were sent for forensic investigation, and call details were being examined. Investigations revealed that Shakiba had also previously brought other young girls to Ali in exchange for money, suggesting a systematic pattern of exploitation.
