Minor Hindu girl abducted and targeted in attempted rape by Muslim man in Uttar Pradesh

In the TP Nagar police station area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a 6-year-old Hindu girl was kidnapped from her home by a Muslim man named Musabbir Khan. The accused then attempted to rape the victim. According to media reports, the girl had visited her maternal uncle's house in Subharti bypass and was playing outside when the accused kidnapped her. He took her on a scooter to a deserted plot in the Sushant City area and attempted to rape her. During this, the girl began to scream. Hearing her cries, Shobir Chaudhary, District President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lokhit), arrived at the scene and caught the accused red-handed. He beat the accused and handed him over to the police. Once news of the incident spread, members of Hindu organisations also arrived at the TP Nagar police station and demanded strict action against the accused. Police station in-charge Arun Mishra confirmed that the accused had been arrested and the girl had been sent for a medical examination. A case was registered against Musabbir Khan under sections relating to kidnapping and the POCSO Act.
