Why it is Hate Crime ?
Often, aggression against Hindus by Islamists starts as minor and innocuous fights. In this case, it started over a minor conflict between the Hindu woman and the Muslim accused. But it soon escalated, leading to physical assault. The assault became so severe that the Hindu victims were left gravely injured. However, in this specific case, there is no reported indication of the crime being a religiously motivated one. Therefore, it is being categorised as undecided. If more details emerge, it will be added to the hate crime database.
