Why it is Hate Crime ?

A viral video showed a Muslim man spitting on rotis at a Hindu wedding. If this act was done deliberately to contaminate food meant for Hindu guests, it could constitute an intentional defiling of religious customs. There have been past instances where individuals were caught spitting into food, sometimes with an admitted intent to disrespect or harm people of another faith. However, in this case, there is no concrete evidence to confirm that the act was motivated by anti-Hindu intent. Therefore, it has been placed in the 'undecided' database. If more details emerge suggesting religious intent, it will be shifted to the 'Hate Crime' database accordingly.
