In the Akhnoor city, Jammu district, hindu religious sentiments were insulted after objectionable and derogatory remarks were made against Hindu deities by a man named Pradeep Kumar. According to reports, activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal filed a written complaint at the Akhnoor police station against the accused, who was a resident of Kathua district, Uttar Pradesh. The complaint stated that Pradeep Kumar had made objectionable and derogatory remarks about Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman Ji on social media. His post was widely condemned for insulting revered Hindu deities and hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindu community. Subsequently, members of the VHP and Bajrang Dal gathered at the police station and demanded strict legal action against the accused for spreading religious disrespect and disharmony through social media. In this case, the accused, Pradeep Kumar, made objectionable remarks on social media targeting Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman Ji.
