The beauty parlour has been sealed, and Bulbul's family claims she smashed her phone two days before her death, though the reason remains unclear. Hindu organisations protested the incident, labelling it as Love Jihad. Demonstrators demanded justice and questioned the administration's handling of the case, accusing the local police of trying to suppress the matter.
