Shahzad poses as Monu Choudhary and lures divorced Hindu woman, mother of woman files complaint for brainwashing
Case Summary
On 26th September, a woman from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, filed a complaint at Raipur police station against Shahzad, who had lured her 30-year-old divorced daughter, a mother of two, by posing as Monu Choudhary. According to the complaint, the woman and her daughters had been living with her parents. During the lockdown, she met Shahzad, originally from Delhi, who introduced himself as Monu and convinced her into a relationship. Despite discovering his real identity, the woman insisted on marrying Shahzad. When her mother tried to stop her, she left home to live with him, even taking a bike and leaving her daughters behind. The complainant expressed concern that her daughter had been brainwashed by Shahzad and pleaded with authorities to find her and punish him.
