Following the incident, the two Hindu students informed a teacher about what had happened. The matter was brought to the attention of the school authorities. However, the Hindu students were advised not to speak further about the incident and were told that raising the matter publicly could escalate tensions and create a larger controversy. Their families learned that the students had been subjected to attempts to make them consume beef, leading to anger among parents and local residents.
