Hindu woman drugged, raped and blackmailed by Muslim doctor Sayed Khan during medical consultation in Indore, lured to farmhouse for second assault under death threats

A Hindu woman from Indore, Madhya Pradesh was drugged, raped, blackmailed with objectionable photographs and videos, and subsequently raped again at a farmhouse by a Muslim doctor named Sayed Khan, son of Gulzar Khan, a resident of Ambachandana who operated a clinic in Gurjarkhedа. From that point he used the recorded material as a sustained tool of blackmail, threatening to kill her if she informed anyone. On March 22, Sayed Khan blackmailed and threatened the Hindu woman into meeting him at Bellamore Resort in the Patalpani area of Mahu. He had laid a trap there in advance and raped her again. After somehow escaping from the resort, the Hindu woman encountered Hindu organisation workers on the road to whom she disclosed what had been done to her. Hindu organisation workers immediately apprehended Sayed Khan and took him to Badgonda police station where the Hindu woman's complaint was registered. Police took Sayed Khan into custody and registered a case under the Religious Freedom Act, rape, and death threat sections. Station in-charge Prakash Vaskale confirmed the registration of the case and confirmed the investigation was ongoing. Upon news of the incident spreading, enraged villagers and the victim's family members stormed Sayed Khan's home in Ambachandana, vandalised it, brought his belongings outside and set them on fire. A large crowd also gathered at his clinic and medical store in Gurjarkheda, pelted stones at the closed clinic, tore down the signboard, and created significant unrest. Mahu police arrived at the scene and deployed additional force to bring the situation under control. Hindu Jagran Manch workers also raised demands for the demolition of Sayed Khan's clinic and farmhouse and stated they would submit a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate regarding the matter.
