Muslim compounder of hospital molests minor Hindu girl, staff assaults victim's father upon complaining

Case Summary
A 16-year-old Hindu girl was molested by a compounder named Danish in Aastha Hospital of Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The incident prompted the victim's father to file an FIR on March 31, 2024. Following the complaint, the hospital staff reportedly assaulted the victim's father. Additional accusations have been made against other staff members as well. In a video, the victim told the police, “He was caressing my stomach and also kissing me on the cheek.” The father was awakened by noise, and Danish fled the scene. When the victim objected to Danish's actions, other hospital staff members assaulted her. Moreover, they pressured the complainant to discharge his daughter immediately. An FIR has been registered based on the complaint, citing sections 323 and 354 of the IPC along with sections 9/10 of the POCSO Act.
