In Mathura, a Hindu girl was deceived into a relationship by a Muslim man named Rashid who pretended to be a Hindu and called himself Aman. According to media reports, Rashid falsely impersonated himself as a Hindu boy named Aman to initiate a physical relationship with a Hindu girl, and then he impregnated her. Rashid gave her false promises of marriage to win her trust and manipulated her into having physical relations on multiple occasions. The Hindu girl originally belonged to Dausa in Rajasthan and used to live in the Govardhan area in Mathura, where she would work in Indira Rasoi. Rashid also lived and worked in the same area by faking his identity as Aman. Rashid masquerading as Aman lured the victim into a relationship and promised her marriage. On the pretext of marriage, Rashid established sexual relations with her and made her pregnant. When the girl asked Rashid to marry her then he started to hesitate and fled away. The girl got to know about Rashid's true identity and reached out to Hindu organisations for help. The Hindu organisations, along with the victim, filed a complaint at the Govardhan Police Station. The Hindu organisation even caught hold of Rashid's brother; however, Rashid managed to flee.
