Minor Hindu domestic-help Paria Bheel raped and killed in Karachi by employers Inayat and Shehroze Pathan

Case Summary
Heera Bheel, a resident of Tando Haider, a small town near Hyderabad, had sent his daughter Paria Bheel to work in Karachi in a bungalow located in Defence Housing Authority’s Khayaban-e-Bukhari. The girl had been employed by house owner and employer, Inayat Khan Pathan along with his son Dr Shehroze Khan Pathan. On May 12, Heera received a phone call informing him that his 15-year-old daughter had committed suicide. When the family went to get her body from the hospital, they found out that she had been brutally sexually assaulted and raped. There were marks of violence on her thighs. The victim's family believed that their daughter, Paria, was raped and killed by the influential Pathans, and it was made to look like a suicide. A case of Paria’s murder was registered against Inayat Khan and Shehroze Khan under Section 302 in Karachi’s Darakhshan police station.
