Case Summary
In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a case emerged when a bus conductor deceived a woman by hiding his religious identity. The woman, a computer operator from a middle-class family, met the conductor, who introduced himself as Suresh, during her daily commute. They began conversing, and she fell in love with him. The conductor took her to his acquaintance's house in Juhapur, where he changed her name, married her, and started living with her. She eventually became pregnant. Later, the woman discovered that the man was actually named Tauseef, not Suresh. She also got to know that he was already married with children. Devastated, she attempted to commit suicide at the riverfront but was saved in time. She then lodged a complaint with the police.
