Why it is Hate Crime ?
In this case, a minor Dalit girl was molested by Muslim perpetrators. It has often been seen that Muslim perpetrators target Hindu girls owing to intrinsic animosity towards Hindus, specifically Hindu minors. However, due to the lack of concrete indication of a religious motive, this case is being categorized as 'undecided'. If more details emerge, it would be added to the hate crime database.
