Hindu minor gang-raped by scrap dealers Faizan, Rehan, Rashid and Wasim in Ghaziabad

Case Summary
A 13-year-old Hindu girl in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh was sexually assaulted by a group of Muslim "kabadis" (ragmen/scrap dealers) who entered her residence. The primary culprit, Faizan, was taken into custody while the other accused, Rehan, Rashid and Wasim, fled from the spot. According to the victim girl’s aunt, all adult family members had gone to work on August 28, leaving the girl alone at home. During this time, three to four boys broke in through the back gate, physically assaulted her, and gang-raped her while she was unconscious. On August 29, the girl's mother lodged a complaint after which Faizan was arrested.
